Well...Here we GO!!!

With the encouragement of a very dear friend I am finally taking on a desire I have always wanted to do. An extreme LEAP OF FAITH if you would.

I have been a "papercrafter" for over 25 years now. It all started with a rubber stamp my husband bought me as a Christmas gift some many years ago. I had been collecting "Noah's Ark" things at the time and so he had seen a Noah's Ark rubber stamp at a stamping store over in Dillsboro, NC and he got it for me to add to my collection. Little did he know at the time that he had created a monster!! I got my first black ink pad and the "Rest is HISTORY" as the story goes. I went from cardmaking to scrapbooking to altering...back to cardmaking...and now anything that I feel the need to do. And learn. I've tried my hand at watercolor painting {self-taught}. Mixed Media {which I am having a hard time loosening up for that medium!}. Altering. Someday I want to try my hand at making paper.

So, this being my first post on my new blog, I ask that you bear with me. Be patient. This is a total learning proccess for me. And as I learn as I go I hope that I can teach you a few things along the way, too.

I want to give a special THANK YOU to my wonderful friend and prayer partner Jessica LiBasci. Without her I never would have had the nerve to do any of this. She recently told me that she was very thankful to God that He put us together in this endeavor because we compliment each other. And I wholeheartedly agree!!

Thank you, PP. And thank you, God, for giving us this opportunity.
